AEROS provides a significant increase in system speed

Currently, 96% of English practices are using a hosted platform. The Arbury Medical Centre has joined this growing number and started to see significant benefits.

Upgrading from Vision on a practice-based server to our hosted solution, AEROS, in November 2015 the practice immediately saw the benefits of a hosted environment.

Using the latest in cloud technology, AEROS provides clinicians with fast and secure access to patient records and data.

The Arbury Medical Centre based in Stockingford, serves the Nuneaton community and has a patient base of over 9,500.

Tina Storer, Practice Manager, commented “The transition to AEROS was painless.  The migration went smoothly albeit a few hiccups on 'go live' day but with the onsite support, these were dealt with efficiently and quickly. Clinicians have reported a significant increase in system speed which is a real bonus.”

With patient data securely hosted off-site and all enhancements or updates managed centrally by INPS, there is no need for a local server for Vision or the need to perform patient record back-ups; meaning there is no requirement for practice staff to do anything. In the event of an emergency, such as fire or flood, patient records are unaffected and the practice can be up and running within a matter of hours.

There is no need to be concerned about outages or downtime during the upgrade. We anticipate that all data will be moved over a weekend or out of hours, with minimal disruption to the practice.
