Gold standard care with accurate INR dose calculations, fully integrated with Vision and other clinical systems.
Vision Anticoagulation Manager is an innovative cross-platform clinical IT solution for managing the appropriate treatment of patients requiring anticoagulation therapy, including Warfarin and new oral anticoagulants (NOACs).
Interactive clinical pathway
An interactive clinical pathway integrates with standard consultation workflows. Existing clinical data is used to calculate a recommended weekly anticoagulant dose in accordance with NICE guidelines. This can be divided equally across the days of the week or varied for each day to match available medicine strengths. Clear and simple daily dosage instructions can then be printed for patients to encourage compliance.
Clinical decision support
An extensive range of decision support tools is available including details of side effects, hospital episodes and links to information about national and locally enhanced services.
In addition, the system provides flexible and detailed reporting on any aspect of the practice's anticoagulation register.
CCG and health board wide deployment
While Vision Anticoagulation Manager can be used by an individual practice, it can also be deployed across all practices in a CCG or Health Board area, working with all major GP systems including Vision, EMIS and SystemOne.
For CCG and health board deployment a management dashboard allows system utilisation to be monitored, and there is a central reporting tool that allows the CCG or health board to analyse anticoagulation service data from all of its practices.
