Setting up a Prescription Printer in Vision 3

If you want your workstation to be able to print prescriptions, you first need to set up a prescription printer within Vision 3

  1. Log into Vision 3.
  2. From the Home Screen select Options at the top menu and followed by Setup.
  3. The Printer Profiles screen displays, select Prescriptions, followed by Add.
  4. Select OK and the Add Printer Profile view displays.
  5. Select the drop-down next to Available Printers, and select the appropriate prescription printer.
  6. Select Advanced<< on the lower right corner of the screen.
  7. The Paper Source lists the tray location of the prescriptions, select Tray 1 or Tray 2 as required.
  8. Select Print Test Page, to confirm the printer is correctly set up.
  9. Select Save in the top right corner of the view. The Vision Printer Profiles view displays, and the printer profile now says "My Prescription Settings".
  10. Select Apply to update, followed by OK to close.

Note - If Consultation Manager was open while adding this print, close down the module and reopen it to refresh the settings.
